Wisconsin Ukrainians, Inc. 2022 Impact Report

Dear Friends,

When the shocking news of the conflict in Ukraine broke in February 2022, Wisconsin Ukrainians immediately came together determined to support those in need. Since that time, we have gained incredible support from friends, neighbors, and businesses wanting to help those who continue to fight for their lives and freedom.

During the year we held nearly 70 events throughout Wisconsin, which collectively raised over $540,000. Beyond the much-needed funds, these events raised awareness and connections within our Wisconsin communities.

This has positioned Wisconsin Ukrainians, Inc. to provide vital humanitarian aid to those affected by the conflict, delivering food, medicine, and other essential items to those in need. We have also provided support to the Ukrainian military, funding the purchase of uniforms, boots, raincoats, jackets, socks, sleeping bags, medical supplies, and more for the brave soldiers who were defending their country.

In the face of so much adversity and suffering, we have seen inspiring moments of hope and positivity by delivering much-needed supplies to the people of Ukraine. We have also provided aid to assist in restoring the country’s infrastructure. This includes the replacement of windows and roofs through programs like the Rebuild Chernihiv Project.

None of these efforts could have been possible without the dedication of our volunteers. Together our more than 600 volunteers spent over 9,300 hours organizing events, collecting donations, and boxing and shipping supplies. While we celebrate these efforts, we recognize our work has only just begun.

Thank you to our many supporters who have donated funds, supplies, and their time and talent to our mission.

We are humbled by your generosity and look forward to your continued support.

Sincerely, Your Wisconsin Ukrainians Inc. Board of Directors
